How to manage your child´s life-threatening food allergies?

Within the last then years, (#ad) food allergies in children have increased dramaticaly.
The most common allergens are: peanuts, trea nuts, milk, egg, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, latex and insect strings. The difficult thing with allergies, it is not easy to avoid allergens, because nowadays they are ingredients in so many product on the market.

Trea nuts are also found in:
salads and salad dressing, barbecue sauce, breading for chicken, pancakes, meat-free burgers, pasta, honey, fish dishes, pie crust.....

Traces of peanuts are found in:
Sauces such as chili sauce, hot sauce, pesto, glazes and marinades, gravy, mole  sauce and salad dressing. Sweets such as pudding, cookies and hot chocolate. Egg rolls, potato pancakes, pet food, specialty pizzas, asian and mexican dishes. Some vegetarian food products especially those advertised as meat substitutes. Foods that contain extruded, cold-pressed, or expelled peanut oil, which may contain peanut protein.
   
Milk is also found in:
canned tuna fish which may contain casein, a milk protein. Many non-dairy products contain casein, wach out for the ingredient labels. Some meats may contain casein as a binder.  Many restaurants put butter on steaks after they have been grilled to add extra flavor. The butter is not visible after it melts.

With eggs it is difficult also:
sometimes in foam or milk topping on specialty coffee drinks. Most commercially processed cooked pastas contain egg or are processed on equipment shared with egg-containing pastas. Boxed, dry pastas are usually egg-free, but may be processed on equipment that is also used for egg-containing products. Fresh pasta is sometimes egg-free, too. Read the label or ask about ingredients before eating pasta. Egg wash is sometimes used on pretzels before they are dipped in salt.

The gluten what causes the wheat allergy is also in rye and barley

You find soy in:
soybeans and soy products are found in baked goods, canned tuna, cereals, crackers, infant formulas, soups and sauces.

Fish is also found in:
salad dressing, Worcestershire sauce, imitation fish or shellfish, meatloaf, BBQ sauce.

Did you know that 20% of all kids in the USA have a (#ad) food allergy already? Within the last 20 years there is a 400% increase in food allergies! Whatch out for the following symphtoms: hives, itching, rash (eczema), behavioral/temper changes, swelling of the face, lips, tongue and/or eyes, diarrhea, vomiting, cramps, itching and tightness of throat, difficulty breathing (asthma), wheezing, in extreme cases, anaphylactic shock. Allergies can appear suddenly and unexpected. It is not easy to explain to a little child, that they cant have there favorite dish anymore.
